Danish coffee firm Coffeebrewer has invented a disposable French press, which has been made from kraft paper and high-density polyethylene.

The French press, known as Grower's Cup, lets coffee drinkers brew hot coffee straight from the packaging.

Contained within the bag is a filter with 26g of freshly ground speciality coffee.

When half a litre of hot water is poured into the bag, it can brew three cups of coffee within five to eight minutes.

The inside of the pack is made from HDPE laminate with a cross tape attached on the outside.

Inside the kraft paper pouch is a filter, according to Packaging News.
