Product details

TRN series mini linear guide ways are standard type with rail width 7mm to 15mm.

TRN series miniature LM guideways are small in size, light in weight, precise in positioning, low in noise, smooth in operation, simple to install.

TRN series miniature LM guideways are with Steel ball retainer,multi-brand interchangeability.

TRN miniature linear guideways are mainly used in Precision measuring equipment, office automation equipment, and other small linear motion equipment.

The design of a plain bearing depends on the type of motion the bearing must provide. The three types of motions possible are:

  • Journal (frictionradial or rotarybearing: This is the most common type of plain bearing; it is simply a shaft rotating in a bearing.[1] In locomotive and railroad carapplications a journal bearing specifically referred to the plain bearing once used at the ends of the axles of railroad wheel sets, enclosed by journal boxes(axleboxes).[3][4] Axlebox bearings today are no longer plain bearings but rather are rolling-element bearings.[5]

  • Linear bearing: This bearing provides linear motion; it may take the form of a circular bearing and shaft or any other two mating surfaces (e.g., a slide plate).[1]

  • Thrust bearing: A thrust bearing provides a bearing surface for forces acting axial to the shaft.[1] One example is a propeller shaft.

Different bearing types have different operating speed limits. Speed is typically specified as maximum relative surface speeds, often specified ft/s or m/s. Rotational bearings typically describe performance in terms of the product

Different bearing types have different operating speed limits. Speed is typically specified as maximum relative surface speeds, often specified ft/s or m/s. Rotational bearings typically describe performance in terms of the product DN where D is the mean diameter (often in mm) of the bearing and N is the rotation rate in revolutions per minute.

Generally there is considerable speed range overlap between bearing types. Plain bearings typically handle only lower speeds, rolling element bearings are faster, followed by fluid bearings and finally magnetic bearings which are limited ultimately by centripetal force overcoming material strength.
